Now is not the time for second guessing. If you smell gas or are just concerned that there may be a problem, act immediately.

  • Leave your home.
  • DO NOT use any electric switches, devices, or even cellphones on the way out.
  • Once you have left your home report the issue to both CenterPoint and 9-1-1.
  • Alert your neighbors to your concern.
  • DO NOT take any other action. Wait for the response team to arrive.
